PAPER
B&W Press purchases only first quality paper direct from major paper mills insuring high standards for your projects. We inventory 50# Offset, 60# Opaque and 75# Hi Bulk and various coated grades with standard widths from 11" to 32" wide.
PRINTING
B&W Press offers Cold Set web offset printing, an affordable process for most projects. For higher impact color printing, B&W Press offers UV Heat Set web printing on coated or uncoated paper.
PACKAGING
B&W Press has a packaging system that allows "total quality control" of your product. Crush-proof cartons are stenciled on all four sides with address, contents, quantity, weight, codes and versions. Finished pallets are electronically batch-counted to maintain accuracy and stretch-wrapped tightly to maintain stability.
Our efficient "bindery-friendly" pallets are welcomed in binderies across the country - cartons are packed to eliminate curl with the product facing in the same direction and with easily removable lids for smooth bindery operations.
All version or code products are individually packaged in separate pallets with clear markings. Multiple version management is our specialty!!
SPOT TACK ADHESIVE
B&W Press’ finishing lines offer "cold glue" and "fugitive spot tacking" applications wherever possible to securely close product for automated mailing operations. Meets USPS guidelines and offers secure closure without the damage of a traditional wafer seal.
REMOISTEN-ABLE ADHESIVE
Our in-line finishing machines can apply up to two continuous stripes of remoisten-able adhesive in the direction of web travel on any paper.
BANDING
High speed automated banding is available on all products in 1" clear plastic bands in exact counts from stacks of 50 to 250. Upon request, we can package exact counts of banned quantities in every carton!
FREIGHT CONSOLIDATION
B&W Press makes every effort to offer freight reduction charges through shipping consolidation. Our favorable geographic location and the fact that we ship several thousand pounds of freight each week allows us to minimize your freight costs and maximize your return on investment. Freight management is a "service" to our customers, never a "profit center".
SEQUENTIAL NUMBERING
B&W has the capability to offer in-line sequential numbering in one or two locations on your piece. We can customize your forms in sequential order, as required.
BAR CODING
Three (3) of nine (9) Bar Coding is also available, via ink-jet printing, in-line on our finishing machines.
MULTI-CODE & VERSIONING
State-of-the-art equipment allows for multiple code and version changes for data list management. Based on the frequency of code list changes, we may suggest simple plate changes and press stops, or use our inkjet systems to make these changes. All pallets are carefully segregated and accurate shipment manifests are maintained.
INKJET PERSONALIZATION & LETTERSHOP SERVICES
Complete letter shop services are available from the data prep-to-final mailing. Offered are one or two-sided personalization, addressing, zip codes, bar codes, sorting, and mailing from customer provided database mailing lists.
FULFILLMENT
B&W Press will provide complete fulfillment services - warehoused and shipped per your schedule, to multiple destinations. Our software management system ‘Pro-Mail’ allows the client web based access to physical inventory for last minute requisitions seamlessly. It also allows the customer to check status of product shipped.
GRAPHIC DESIGN & DESKTOP SERVICES
Our professional staff offers free redesigned mock-ups of your current mailing pieces to an all-in-one mailing piece. Complete desktop design services available at very reasonable rates.
TEMPLATES
Template files are available for our customers on our website. Templates are offered in Quark 6, Quark 7, as a PDF, and Adobe In-Design. Each product page has the option of selecting for that particular product from multiple templates in our on-line library.
If these selections are not applicable to your project, just call for additional layouts as digital or sheet templates can be sent to you at your request.
