Q: What about freight charges? "Paper and freight are not profit centers".
“Paper and freight are not profit centers”. Every effort is made to get the best rates for our customers by consolidating shipments – F.O.B. Georgetown, MA – to reduce freight charges. A typical B&W Press freight quotation shows a “low end and a high end estimate”. Our traffic department pre-plans shipments to ensure product is delivered at the best possible freight cost and this helps our customer maximize their return on investment. Freight shipped in “volume” often allows for the lowest freight cost.
